NCH Sponsored walk - 2001

throughout the country, in June each year, supporters of the Methodist Church Charity, NCH Action for Children, take part in the 'Step out for Children' sponsored walk.

Midsomer Norton is one of the "organised locations" in the South West and from there 32 people took part in this years walk.

The foot and mouth outbreak put a stop to the planned "figure of eight" walk, but fortunately our local "Greenway" was open and a very enjoyable day was had by all, walking the foot/cycle path and disused railway line.

Three people were so keen that, even though they could not do the walk on the planned day, they did the walk anyway (the week before) to help raise as much money as possible, well done to all who took part - how about you being there next year!!
