CAMEO - Bank Holiday Fun

On many of the bank holidays in the year events are organised by the Come And Meet Each Other (hence CAMEO!!!) team to various locations for various types of fun. There are also games evenings at the Church Hall, walks and BBQ's organised by the team. At least one event each month takes place somewhere...

CAMEO events take place as the name suggests for people to meet together and get to know each other better.

This spring bank holiday at the end of May we all went to Weston-Super-Mare to play on the beach at the Uphill end. Great fun was had flying kites, playing football, rounders, cricket, boules and building sand castles and a lot more besides!!!

After all the excitement of the beach we then moved on to Cheddar to enjoy delicious fish and chips and ice creams. As you can see from the photo below quite a number of people enjoyed the day out and went home tired, full and happy!!
